My free time

So I had this entire evening free. And instead of doing any number of things I should have-- for example, washing laundry so that my uniform is clean for the restaurant tomorrow evening-- I took a three hour nap. Now it's 10:30 at night in the middle of the week, and I am searching for dinner before going promptly back to bed.

This reminds me of that horrendous summer at the ERAC airport. Help.

Commitment

Until one is committed
There is hesitancy,
the chance to draw back,
Always ineffectiveness.
Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation),
There is one elementary truth,
The ignorance of which kills countless ideas
And splendid plans:
That the moment one definitely commits oneself,
Then Providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur to help one
That would never otherwise have occurred.
A whole stream of events issues from the decision
Raising in one's favor all manner
Of unforeseen incidents and meetings
And material assistance,
Which no man could have dreamt
Would have come his way.
I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets:
"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."

W.H. Murray, from The Scottish Himalayan Expedition

I can't begin to articulate my thoughts on this right now. I'm going to a job interview, and it's the first one yet that I've been EXCITED about.

Horoscope

From Glamour or some such magazine:

Sagittarius-- You're finally on the brink of a career breakthrough, but it feels like things are still going in slow motion. Your mission: study up on your craft; use what you learn to nab this huge opportunity.

Now who wants to tell me what my craft is?!?
